About the role

Retro Steel Group is seeking an experienced Rigger/Steel Erector also experienced crane operators to join our team on a part-time basis in Perth, WA. With the option of full time employment for the right candidate. This role is pivotal to our operations, as you will be responsible for safely and efficiently managing the rigging, positioning, and erection of structural steel components on our projects. Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful completion of our building and construction initiatives, ensuring that all work meets our high standards for safety, quality and precision.

What you'll be doing

1. Installing structural on large scale warehouse projects

2. Positioning and securing structural steel members using rigging equipment and techniques in accordance with engineering specifications

3. Operating or directing the operation of cranes and lifting equipment to place steel components accurately into position

4. Communicating clearly with crane operators, ground crews and supervisors using hand signals and radio

What we're looking for

1.



Current and valid Rigger High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) or equivalent qualification recognised in Western Australia

2. Proven experience as a rigger or steel erector in the building and construction industry, ideally with several years of hands-on experience
