Engage Talent Partners are working with our exclusive client to source a Trainee Electronics Technician to their Australia based Technical and Operations team.

Based in Perth, Australia you will be responsible for function testing, producing technical reports, assisting offshore survey teams, and the preparing and testing of pre and post hire equipment.
Key Responsibilities:The preparation and testing of equipment prior to rental and post hire.Checking, inspecting, and documenting equipment returned from hire.Function testing, software / firmware updates, cable integrity.Ensuring completeness of equipment against packing lists.Visual inspection,



function testing and writing technical reports.Identification of in-house or external repair tasks.Preparing all assets to ensure they are ready for delivery to clients at short notice.General warehouse and delivery duties.Checking, inspecting and documenting equipment.Setup, interfacing, and function testing.Troubleshooting.Assist offshore survey team as required.Demobilise, check, inspect and document equipment prior to dispatch.
The ideal candidate will hold a qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or relevant subject, or have a years equivalent experience. The successful candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and approach work with a proactive mindset.
