About Us Sizzle N Sambar is a well-established Indian restaurant based in Victoria Park and Willetton in Western Australia, known for delivering authentic, high-quality cuisine.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate full-time cook to join our growing team. About the Role The Full-Time Cook will prepare high-quality meals, maintaining consistency and food safety standards across all kitchen operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities Inspect ingredients and foodstuffs to ensure quality prior to preparation Monitor and regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, and cooking equipment

Prepare, cook, and present menu dishes using a variety of cooking techniques Season food appropriately throughout the cooking process Portion dishes and finish with gravies, sauces, and garnishes for service





Store food correctly in temperature-controlled facilities per food safety standards Prepare meals to accommodate special dietary and allergen requirements Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control across all dishes

Uphold food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness Required Qualifications and Experience Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent recognised qualification

Minimum 1 year of post-qualification full-time (or equivalent part-time) relevant experience as a Cook If no trade qualification, then a minimum of 3 years of full time (or equivalent part-time) relevant experience as a Cook Experience in authentic Indian cuisine

Knowledge of regional Indian cooking styles Job Type: Permanent Full-time Salary: AU$ 80,000 – AU$ 85,000 per yea (plus Superannuation)
