• Contribute to course quality assurance, moderation, benchmarking, and continuous improvement in line with the relevant standards
• Maintain an active scholarship profile informed by contemporary developments in the relevant field of practice and research
• Participating in academic governance committees and student academic support
About you (Essential)
• A PhD in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field is preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary developments in the discipline, evidenced by continuing scholarship, research, or advances in professional practice
• Skills in contemporary teaching, learning and assessment principles for higher education, including blended delivery and diverse student cohorts
• Understanding of academic integrity requirements,
including risks associated with generative AI
• Experience in curriculum development, external benchmarking, or professional accreditation processes
• Industry experience in civil or construction engineering projects
