The Company:

My client is a known manufacturer, supplying products to the construction industry. Located south of the river in Perth, you will be joining an agile organisation that prides itself on team fit, a great shop-floor culture, and its strong retention.

The Role:

As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for running the day shift overseeing a team of approximately 40-50. Your key areas of accountability will include but not be limited to:
Safe management of the day-to-day operations of the site
Meeting planned targets across production, quality and DIFOT
Managing and monitoring process KPIs
Continuous improvement of site-wide processes
Developing and supporting both new and existing team members, including training and induction
Experienced within the manufacturing supply-chain

Essential Criteria:A background in a Manufacturing environment
Technical qualifications in mechanical engineering are well received
Previous experience in a leadership capacity within manufacturing
Skills in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement
A strong approach to safety
Exposure to warehouse management systems and processes (ERP)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
