Technical Support / Junior Software Developer
CtrlBOX is the developer of a fully integrated SaaS Transport Management System (TMS). As we have now entered the commercial rollout of our system, we are seeking a Technical Support Officer / Junior Developer to join our team based in O’Connor, Western Australia.

About the Role

Location
This is a fully onsite role in O’Connor, Western Australia. Remote applications will not be considered.
Your Day-to-Step Responsibilities
- Support & Collaborate: Provide high-quality technical support for our key customers and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Problem Solve: Debug and deeply understand software systems, backend services, and data structures.
- Build & Scale: Design, code, test, and implement scalable backend and frontend applications.
What You'll Bring (Minimum Qualifications)
- Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field OR 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Language Proficiency: Working experience with C# and the dotnet framework
- Relational Databases: Understanding of relational databases, including SQL, and general data structures.
- Full-Stack Familiarity: Solid understanding of both backend and frontend development frameworks and technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desirable Extras (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with the Blazor Framework
- Experience with REST API's, particularly MinimalAPI's
- Experience with SQL Server, ASP Classic, or the DevExpress suite of tools.
- Experience or familiarity with AI development tools is a plus, though not essential.
- Technical Footprint: Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining critical, production-grade software.
- Contemporary DevOps: Working knowledge of version control systems, contemporary CI/CD practices, testing, and database/software migration tools.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), integrated testing frameworks, and core security/networking principles.
- Data Best Practices: An understanding of data quality, data governance, and data security.
- Comfort operating effectively in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment.
