About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team at Avalon Dental Care in Kalamunda, Western Australia. This is a part-time opportunity for a passionate professional to provide exceptional oral healthcare services to our valued patients.

What you'll be doing

- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, assessments, and treatments

- Provide preventative dental care, including skilled cleanings, scaling, and polishing

- Administer local anaesthesia and apply sealants and fluoride treatments

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and disease prevention techniques

- Collaborate with the dentist to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

- Ensure a high standard of infection control and sterilisation procedures

What we're looking for

- Registered Oral Health Therapist with a current AHPRA licence

- 1-2 years of experience as an Oral Health Therapist or Hygienist

- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients





- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and effectively

- Proficient in the use of dental software and technology

- A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn

- Available days are: Thursday and Friday. We currently have a team of 3 OHT's/ Hygienists and are looking to fill in our days
