The role:

We are currently seeking applications from a dynamic, motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our dedicated and busy Accounts Receivable Department in our Osborne Park Laboratory in a full-time role.

As an essential member of the team, your primary responsibilities of this role are:

- Timely and accurate processing of payments in high volume setting.

- Processing of cash, cheque, and credit card payments received daily.

- Generating invoices, reminders, and accounts letters.

- Answering Accounts Receivable phone calls and assisting patients with their account enquiries.

- Check with doctor/clinic for any unclear or missing information required for accounts receivable.





- Liaising with Medicare and Health Funds to obtain information needed for invoicing.

- Give quotes for testing to patients following the standard protocol.

The successful candidate will have:

- A Certificate in Business Administration, Finance or similar relevant qualification.

- Sound interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with patients/customers, external parties and all levels of staff in a professional manner.

- Excellent computer skills.

- High level of attention to detail and numeracy.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

- Ability to work effectively as a team member and also autonomously.

- Demonstrated organisational skills, and ability to prioritise workload.

- Ability to work and maintain performance in a high paced environment.

- The right to work in Australia.

Desirable selection criteria:

- Previous accounts receivable experience.

- Experience in healthcare is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
