Dowsing Group is seeking an experienced Reticulation Technician / Landscaper to join our established civil services team working across Local Government and council projects.

This is a hands-on, autonomous role suited to someone who takes pride in their trade, enjoys working independently across multiple sites, and wants consistent, long-term work with a reputable company.

Some of our services to Local Govt Councils include removal and reinstatement of footpaths/driveways/verges/kerbing, reticulation repairs, site clean and backfill using suitable materials.

Your role

You’ll work independently across residential and streetscape sites, delivering high‑quality reticulation outcomes before and after footpath installations.

- Cutting, capping,



and clearly marking out existing reticulation in preparation for excavation works

- Reinstating residential reticulation following footpath installation

- Identifying and diagnosing reticulation faults (experience essential)

- Cleaning up and backfilling work areas with the correct base material once tasks are completed

- Performing basic paving tasks where required (experience advantageous)

- Completing general landscaping duties as needed

- Operates independently and delivers end-of-day activity reports

Ideal Candidate:

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in reticulation systems.

- Willingness to undertake and assist with general landscaping tasks when required

- Brick paving experience desirable but not essential

- Ability to remediate broken solenoids

- Ability to work efficiently and independently on multiple sites

- Ability to work well in a team

- Reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious

- Minimum C class manual license essential (MR-B, skid steer and excavator license highly desirable),

- Construction White Card essential
