About the Role:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Carers to join our team, providing high-quality care and support to elderly clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering person- centred care in alignment with the needs and wishes of each client, focusing on maintaining comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Offer emotional and social support, helping clients and their families navigate challenging times
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition
- Monitor the physical and emotional well-being of clients, reporting any changes in condition to healthcare professionals
- Work collaboratively with nurses, healthcare providers, and families to provide tailored care to each client
- Implement palliative care approaches,



focusing on pain management, comfort, and emotional support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care documentation, adhering to confidentiality and compliance standards

Essential Requirements:

- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
- Experience working in aged care environments
- Understanding of palliative care principles and practices
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care

Job Types: Part time, Casual

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
