Workfast is seeking reliable General Labourers to join a major commercial building project for the highly anticipated Hobart Hospital upgrade in Hobart, TAS.

Pay Rate: $38 8p/hr + Overtime + Super
Location: Hobart, TAS
Hours: 7:00am start, 8–10 hour shifts
Start Date: ASAP

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale Tier 1 health infrastructure program. The project involves major commercial building construction, including site preparation, demolition support, structural works, and assisting various trades during the hospital's expansion and upgrade. Long-term work is on offer for the right candidates.

What You Will Be Doing:

- Assisting tradespeople with general construction and building tasks
- Moving materials, manual handling, and general site preparation
- Spotting for machinery and working safely around plant equipment
- Cleaning and maintaining a safe, organized worksite
- Supporting multiple building and construction teams across the project

What You Need:

- Construction White Card - MUST
- Driver’s Licence
- Reliable transport to and from site
- Previous commercial building or construction experience




- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Safety-first attitude and robust teamwork skills
