Assistant Director/ Admin Djinda Dreaming Education, Armadale

The Role
As 2IC you will:
- Support the Centre Director in day-to-day operations, compliance, and leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement and embed the EYLF across all age groups.
- Step into the Director’s role during periods of leave or absence.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, educators, and the wider community.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to a positive team culture and ongoing quality improvement
- Participate in professional development and reflective practices
Admin Role
- To provide excellence in Customer Service to all enrolled Staff, Educators, Families and Children.
- To answer phone calls daily in a timely and professional manner and assist with general enquiries.
- To process and submit all necessary requirements of timesheets weekly.
- To process all Child Enrolments, as requested.
- To process all new staff files as requested.
- To partake and maintain archiving and filing of all required documents.
- To maintain and actively answer (within 24 hours where feasible) all emails.
- To professionally respond to all emails and calls at all times.
- To maintain open communication with the Director / Approved Provider and all staff in regard to any complaints, issues, errors or matters in relation to the operations of the service.
- To partake in all necessary calls to CCSS, Software Providers and other required third parties to complete your role in assisting the service.
- Maintain confidentiality within and outside the team as per the privacy and confidentiality policy and agreement.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education)
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Sound knowledge of the NQS and EYLF
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts (including opening/closing)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- A commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive practice
- A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
- Developing knowledge of work practices.
- Ability to cope effectively in an emergency or stressful situation.
- Effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess strong multi-tasking and time management abilities
- Thrive in a team-focused setting while also working confidently on your own
- Demonstrate initiative, responsibility, and a can-do attitude
