Kilmore Racing Club, located 50 mins north of Melbourne CBD, is home to both Turf and Harness racing. Our two venues - Kilmore Trackside and The Bendigo Club, are premier entertainment destinations delivering high level Hospitality in all areas of the Club - racing, gaming, TAB and food & beverage.

The role

We are seeking a professional, dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of both venue locations, with option to base in Kilmore with consistent travel to our Bendigo site. You will lead and develop our team, drive revenue, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and continue to elevate the overall patron Hospitality experience.

Reporting to the CEO, your responsibilities will include -

- Leading the day-to-day operations and performance of our venue teams

- Ensuring strict adherence to all gaming regulation and liquor licensing laws, Club policy and process

- Assisting in driving venue performance and achieving financial targets

- Maintain consistency across venues, promoting efficiency, standards and accountability

- Training and mentoring of direct reports - Venue Managers, Duty Managers, and other venue staff, building capability and succession within the teams

- Support P & C with rostering and recruitment functions, staff onboarding and training

Who we are looking for





The successful candidate will be able to display the following -

- Have previous senior Venue Management experience in gaming and venue operations, multi venue experience would be an advantage

- Advanced knowledge of gaming compliance and regulatory requirements

- Able to demonstrate robust financial knowledge and cost management capabilities, using financial data to drive profitability and support strategic decision-making

- Exceptional leadership and people management capabilities, with the ability to motivate, develop performance and foster a positive and accountable workplace culture

- A genuine passion for hospitality and achieving exceptional patron experiences, ensuring patron interactions are reflective of KRC's standards of service

A competitive salary is on offer, and is negotiable based on experience.

You must have a consistent spread of availability across days/ evenings and some weekend availability.
