The Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman / Leading Hand to lead one of our construction crews delivering water and wastewater infrastructure works.

This is a hands-on leadership role, You will be working alongside your crew while coordinating daily activities, maintaining safety standards and ensuring works are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

You will lead a three-person crew delivering sewer and water infrastructure across the Southern Metropolitan area.

What we are looking for:

- Minimum MR Licence





- Experience in civil construction, plumbing or drainage

- Experience working on water and wastewater infrastructure projects

- Experience working around underground utility services

- Ability to lead a small crew and maintain a positive team culture

- Strong commitment to safety, quality and following company procedures

- Good problem solving skills and ability to manage site challenges

- Ability to keep the crew organised, productive and working safely

- White Card

Highly regarded:

- Experience working with SA Water construction standards (Blue Card)

- Experience working on live water and sewer assets

- Experience reading construction drawings and plans

- Experience using BYDA / Dial Before You Dig plans

- Skid steer or excavator ticket

- Experience leading small civil construction crews

This role would ideally suit someone with a civil drainage or plumbing background looking to step into or continue in a Foreman / Leading Hand position while remaining hands-on in the crew.
