About the Role
We are seeking experienced Mental Health Registered Nurses to join Mental Health Triage & Acute Assessment Teams (MHAT) across the Northern Territory. These roles provide the opportunity to work with individuals experiencing acute mental health presentations while supporting recovery-focused care within community and hospital settings.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health triage and acute assessments.
- Provide crisis intervention, clinical assessments, and recovery-focused care.
- Manage an allocated caseload using evidence-based mental health practices.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with consumers, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate high-quality, holistic care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with organisational policies and best-practice standards.

What you'll need
- Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse Division 1).
- Minimum 2 years' post-graduate Mental Health nursing experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Mental Health Triage and Acute Assessment.
- Experience providing recovery-oriented care and case management.
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
- Current Australian working rights.
