About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Accountant to join RGM’s Traralgon office. Working with a varied portfolio of individual and business clients, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality taxation and accounting services while building strong client relationships. This role offers autonomy, flexibility and genuine long-term career opportunities within a collaborative team.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepare financial statements and income tax returns
- Complete BAS, GST and tax compliance obligations
- Manage a portfolio of individual and SME clients
- Provide professional advice and support to clients
- Prepare working papers and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Work collaboratively with the broader accounting team
- Maintain accurate client records using cloud-based accounting software

Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline




- CPA or CA qualified (or currently working towards completion)
- Minimum three years' experience within Australian public practice
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation, BAS and GST compliance
- Experience using Xero and other cloud-based accounting software
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
