As a Lecturer (Level B) – Counselling, you will play a key role in delivering high quality counselling education, clinical supervision, and professional training within the School of Applied Psychology. You will support the development of future counselling practitioners through creative teaching, student mentorship, and engagement with industry and professional stakeholders, while contributing to the School’s collaborative and practice focused culture.

As a Lecturer (Level B) you will:

- Deliver engaging teaching and learning experiences that support students’ professional growth, counselling capability, and readiness for practice.




- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to counselling students undertaking practice-based learning and placement experiences.
- Coordinate courses and contribute to curriculum enhancement to ensure contemporary, industry aligned learning outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with professional bodies, community organisations, and internal stakeholders to support student learning and program quality.
- Contribute to scholarship, service, and governance activities that strengthen the counselling discipline and the broader School community.

This is a continuing, full time position primarily based at Griffith University Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site university you may be required to work across other locations.

Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $117,076 - $139,031 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $136,979 - $162,667 per annum.
