Your Opportunity

As our Financial Accountant, you’ll support the Financial Reporting & Control team across month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, financial reporting and key control activities. This is a 6-month fixed term opportunity reporting to the Financial Controller within Group Finance.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining a strong financial control workplace while supporting accurate reporting, audit readiness and the overall financial integrity of the Group.

You’ll also make an impact by:

- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes including general journals and central accounting tasks.
- Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assisting with financial statements, board reporting packs, variance analysis and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Supporting external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit queries.
- Helping maintain financial systems, processes and procedures with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
- Assisting with operational readiness for the Workday general ledger solution including pre and post go-live activities.
