About the role

Summit Building Group is seeking Apprentice Carpenters to join our team on a full-time basis. You will play an significant part in delivering great results on our residential carpentry projects.

What you'll be doing

As an experienced apprentice, you'll be working alongside qualified tradespeople on a range of new residential projects and renovations. You'll learn hands-on skills in being able to;

- Confidently complete all aspects of residential carpentry

- Competently measure, cut and assemble materials

- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner

- Provide on-the-job training to develop essential carpentry skills

- Maintain a high standard when adhering to building standards and WHS protocols

What we're looking for





- Currently undertaking the appropriate study to obtain your certification

- Work in a rapid-paced environment

- Have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn

- Problem-solving and critical thinking to resolve challenges on site

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively in a team environment

- Valid driver's license and well-equipped with a range of basic trade tools

- Must have asbestos, silica and white cards
