As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Locksmith Workshop Manager to lead their workshop and play a key role in the continued success of the business.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is a senior leadership position that combines hands-on locksmithing with workshop management, staff leadership and operational oversight.

You will be responsible for leading the workshop team, coordinating daily operations, maintaining high standards of workmanship and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality. This role will also see you providing technical support to both workshop and field technicians while helping drive continuous improvement across workshop operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading, mentoring and supporting workshop locksmiths and apprentices

- Managing daily workshop operations, workflow and job allocation

- Scheduling work to maximise productivity and efficiency

- Performing quality assurance checks before jobs are completed and dispatched





- Providing technical guidance and support to workshop and field locksmiths

- Preparing quotations and assisting with technical customer enquiries

- Managing inventory, purchasing and supplier relationships

- Maintaining workshop equipment and ensuring a safe, organised workplace

- Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements

Who We Are Looking For

Our client is looking for an experienced locksmith with strong leadership skills who enjoys mentoring others, improving workshop performance and leading by example.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified Locksmith

- Previous workshop leadership or supervisory experience

- Strong technical knowledge across residential, commercial and automotive locksmithing

- Experience with Promaster Key Manager software and restricted key systems

- Experience cutting and programming automotive keys, ignition repairs and transponder systems

- Strong organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills

- Experience managing stock, purchasing and supplier relationships

- A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service
