Bluechip Industrial Services is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team in Henderson, Western Australia. This is a full time position offering an excellent opportunity to be part of our our services organisation. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial and industrial facilities.
What you'll be doing
- Performing daily cleaning and maintenance tasks across assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, kitchens and other facilities to the highest standards
- Emptying and replacing waste bins and managing waste disposal in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, following all prescribed procedures
- Maintaining cleaning supplies and reporting when stock levels are low
- Some light garden duties
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company protocols
- Working efficiently to meet scheduled cleaning targets and deadlines
- Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Maintaining a professional appearance and conducting yourself courteously with clients and colleagues
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in cleaning services or a related field is highly desirable
- A strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks throughout the working day
- Knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Reliability and punctuality with a flexible approach to shift patterns
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanour
- Valid driver's licence may be advantageous for role mobility
- Police clearance
