We are seeking a passionate Full time Commis Chef to join our dynamic culinary team at Pullman Cairns International.

This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging chef to develop their skills within a five-star hotel environment, working alongside experienced chefs and contributing to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences. Supporting Coco’s Restaurant, this role is ideal for someone with a passion for à la carte service who is eager to learn and progress their career.

Availability for evening shifts from 2pm onwards is essential.

What You’ll Do:

- Support food preparation and service across à la carte, buffet, banqueting and room service operations.
- Assist with mise-en-place and daily kitchen preparation.
- Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Maintain a clean, organised and food-safe workstation.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes.
- Build your culinary skills through hands-on experience and ongoing development.
