Our client's business has been established for almost 20 years and specialises in custom stainless steel product supply to a number of leading boating brands nationally.
This role is open to junior – entry level applicants, and experienced polishers.
With an increased and ongoing solid workload, they need a competent polisher - trades assistant to be able to walk in and step right up, get on the tools, and work alongside trades to help get work out the door.
What is needed
This position requires a level of physical fitness to stand for most of your working day, it involves regular lifting, frequent bending and flexibility to move around various high-end stainless-steel items with care while polishing these using workshop polishing processes, machinery and products.
- Proactive, reliable, resilient & positive attitude
- Competent use of hand and power tools
- Experience in the metal or marine industry (preferred)
- Enjoy working as part of highly motivated small & cohesive team
- Prowess and attention to detail in your workmanship
- Desire to grow with the business
A current driver’s licence is preferred to assist with delivering or collecting products in the company work ute.
If you are looking for a Monday to Friday role, starting at 6.30 am and finishing early on Fridays, this is a great opportunity to work with a highly motivated, team-oriented small team.
Our client isn't looking for a long-term casual working arrangement, they are looking for a polisher or trades assistant who can walk in, get involved and wants to become a long-term full-time employee.
