ARCway Careers is looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to join our team.

This is a hands-on business development and account management role with a strong focus on identifying new opportunities, winning new host employers and growing our presence across key industries.

You’ll work directly with businesses to understand their workforce needs and develop tailored traineeship and workforce solutions, while managing and growing relationships with existing clients.

About the Role

Your key focus will be business growth. You’ll take ownership of prospecting, developing new relationships and converting opportunities into long-term client partnerships.

You will:

- Proactively identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities
- Build relationships with key decision makers and prospective host employers
- Conduct client meetings, site visits and workforce planning discussions
- Develop tailored traineeship and workforce solutions for clients
- Grow existing accounts by identifying new workforce and training opportunities
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing host employers
- Work closely with our recruitment team to successfully fill new vacancies
- Support trainees throughout their employment and maintain strong relationships with host employers
- Assist with workplace, performance and employee matters
- Maintain accurate CRM records and meet compliance and reporting requirements

About You





We’re looking for someone who is proactive and confident opening doors.

You’ll be comfortable picking up the phone, approaching new businesses, meeting with decision makers and turning conversations into opportunities.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience in business development and account management
- A proven ability to generate leads, win new clients and grow existing accounts
- Experience within apprenticeships, traineeships, labour hire, employment services or recruitment
- Confidence managing relationships and difficult conversations
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Robust organisation, follow-up and time management skills
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of your portfolio
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence, your own vehicle and willingness to visit client sites
