Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic, qualified educators to join our dynamic organisation. We have several available positions:
Baden Powell Preschool: 1 x Cert III/Diploma educator, 2 x lunch cover positions (Diploma or ECT)
Bakewell Street Kindergarten: 1 x lunch cover position (Diploma or ECT)
Banyan Fields Kindergarten: 2 x Cert III/Diploma educators
Bowerbird Preschool: 1 x Diploma educator, 1 x Cert III/Diploma educator
Bruthen Street Kindergarten: 1 x Cert III/Diploma educator
Crib Point Kindergarten: 1 x Cert III/Diploma educator
Delacombe Park Preschool: 2 x Diploma educators, 1 x Cert III/Diploma educator
Erinwood Preschool: 1 x Diploma educator, 1 x Cert III/Diploma educator
Kala Kindergarten: 1 x lunch cover position (Diploma or ECT)
Kulap Kindergarten: 1 x lunch cover position (Diploma or ECT)
Montague Park Preschool: 1 x Cert III/Diploma educator
Riviera Preschool: 2 x Cert III/Diploma educators, 2 x lunch cover position (Diploma or ECT)
Somers Preschool: 1 x Diploma educator
Tyabb Preschool: 1 x lunch cover position (Diploma or ECT)
Wallaroo Preschool: 1 x Diploma educator – previous experience using trauma-informed pedagogy is preferred.
Westall Kindergarten: 1 x Diploma educator – previous experience working with CALD communities preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Support children’s learning and wellbeing through responsive, inclusive and play-based practice.
- Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues, creating a safe, welcoming and respectful environment.
- Contribute to quality practice by working collaboratively with teachers and educators, reflecting on practice and supporting the delivery of the kindergarten program.
Qualifications:
- A relevant qualification in education or teaching (e.g. Certificate 3, Diploma, Bachelor of Education).
- Valid Working with Children Card or VIT.
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- Current child safety training certifications.
- Experience working with kindergarten-aged children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and form relationships with children, families and peers.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning workplace.
