About the Role

Smith & Co Recruitment is looking for an experienced Intermediate Rigger to join a large maintenance project in Weipa. FIFO from Brisbane, you’ll work a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster, supporting mechanical and engineering trades with rigging, lifting, equipment positioning and general maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete intermediate rigging and lifting activities across site
- Support mechanical and engineering trades during maintenance works
- Set up rigging equipment and prepare loads for safe lifting
- Position and secure plant, equipment and materials as required
- Maintain compliance with site safety and lifting procedures

What You’ll Bring





- Current Intermediate Rigging Licence – essential
- Current EWP Licence
- Current White Card
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Availability for an immediate start and 2/1 FIFO roster

Salary & Advantages

- $67.70 per hour flat rate
- 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster
- FIFO from Brisbane to Weipa
