About the role

Karben Industries is seeking a dedicated and physically capable Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our Wyong facility. This is a full-time position based in Wyong, NSW 2259. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution centre. Your contributions will directly support our ability to store, manage, and distribute products to our customers on time and in perfect condition. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills in warehouse operations and logistics whilst working as part of a collaborative team.

What you'll be doing

- Receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming goods and materials

- Organising and storing products in designated warehouse locations using appropriate storage methods

- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment to customers

- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks etc.

- Sheet metal machinery operation

- Maintaining accurate inventory records and updating warehouse management systems

- Conducting regular stock checks and identifying discrepancies

- Labelling and organising items according to warehouse procedures and safety standards

- Ensuring the warehouse environment remains clean, safe, and organised at all times

- Following health and safety regulations and reporting any hazards or incidents

- Supporting the warehouse team in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly targets

What we're looking for

- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items regularly

- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording and managing inventory

- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic





- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced environment

- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, follow instructions, and count inventory

- Understanding of health and safety principles and commitment to following safe working practices

- Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not essential)
