Humero Recruitment Partners are proud to be partnering exclusively with a for-purpose organisation located in the Gold Coast, in search of their next Senior P&C; Advisor.

About The Role
In this role, you will deliver contemporary people advice, manage complex employee and industrial relations matters, ensure legislative and organisational compliance, and drive initiatives that strengthen workforce capability and organisational effectiveness.

Acting as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team, Senior Leadership Team and line managers, you will provide strategic and operational guidance on workforce matters, lead the development and continuous improvement of people systems, policies and processes, and support the achievement of organisational objectives.

This role operates with a high degree of autonomy, provides technical leadership and mentoring within the People & Culture team, and champions a people-centred, culturally safe and inclusive workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Advisory & Business Partnering

- Provide expert advice and coaching to line managers on employee relations, performance management, conduct, workplace investigations and complex people matters
- Partner with leaders to identify workforce risk, build workplace capability and support organisational objectives
- Lead the resolution of complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, industrial instruments and organisational policies
- Provide specialist advice on award interpretation, employment obligations and workplace compliance requirements
- Support organisational change initiatives, restructures and workforce planning activities
- Prepare and review complex employment documentation, correspondence and case management records
- Manage interactions with external stakeholders including Fair Work Commission matters, legal representatives and regulatory bodies as required

Workforce Building & Leadership Support

- Work with the ELT to support the design,



implementation and evaluation of capability development initiatives
- Coach and support managers to build confidence and capability in people leadership practices
- Identify workforce capability gaps and develop practical strategies to address current and future needs
- Contribute to leadership development, succession planning and talent management initiatives
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to People & Capability team members

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

- Oversee recruitment and selection activities, ensuring equitable, compliant and efficient practices
- Partner with line managers on attraction and selection strategies for critical roles
- Support workforce planning initiatives to address current and future talent requirements
- Ensure recruitment processes align with organisational and legislative requirements

Culture, Engagement & Organisational Development

- Lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and organisational culture
- Champion culturally safe and inclusive practices that support a diverse workforce and community
- Support the delivery of organisational development projects and strategic people initiatives
- Promote a positive, respectful and high-performing workplace culture

About You

- Demonstrated experience in an HR Generalist or equivalent role, with hands-on experience providing advice on complex employee relations, performance and general employment matters
- Working knowledge of Australian employment law, the National Employment Standards and Modern Awards
- Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
- High level of integrity, discretion and professionalism
- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Relevant HR qualification (e.g. Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related discipline) (desired)
