Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Speech Pathologist, you will:

Assess communication and swallowing disordersDevelop evidence-based therapy plansDeliver speech pathology intervention for children and adultsPrescribe and implement AAC and communication devicesComplete dysphagia and swallowing assessmentsWork collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners and Exercise PhysiologistsLiaise with GPs, families, schools, support coordinators and carersDeliver therapy in both clinic and community settingsParticipate in ongoing supervision and professional development
