Water Cart & Tilt Tray Drivers - Join the Doughty Group Team

Doughty Group is growing – and we’re looking for experienced drivers to join our team!

We are seeking reliable, safety-focused and experienced Water Cart Drivers and Tilt Tray Drivers to work across our civil construction, plant hire and transport operations throughout South East Queensland.

WATER CART DRIVERS

We are looking for experienced HR Water Cart Drivers to support our civil construction projects.

What you’ll be doing:

- Operating water carts on civil construction and earthworks projects

- Dust suppression and moisture conditioning

- Completing daily pre-starts and vehicle inspections

- Working safely around heavy mobile plant and site personnel

- Supporting general site operations as required

- Maintaining a high standard of vehicle care and housekeeping

About you:

- Current HR Driver Licence – mandatory

- RII Water Cart competency – mandatory

- Previous water cart experience

- Civil construction experience highly regarded

- White Card

- Solid commitment to safety

- Reliable, punctual and professional

- Ability to work safely around heavy mobile plant and personnel

- Ability to complete daily pre-starts and site documentation

TILT TRAY DRIVERS

We are also seeking experienced Tilt Tray Drivers to transport plant, machinery, equipment and materials across Brisbane and South East Queensland.

What you’ll be doing:

- Operating tilt tray trucks safely and efficiently

- Loading,



securing and transporting plant and equipment

- Conducting vehicle pre-starts and inspections

- Ensuring loads are secured in accordance with requirements

- Delivering and collecting equipment from construction sites, depots and customers

- Completing required paperwork and transport documentation

- Representing Doughty Group professionally when dealing with customers and site personnel

About you:

- Current HR licence – mandatory

- Previous tilt tray experience preferred

- Experience transporting plant and machinery highly regarded

- White Card

- Strong knowledge of load restraint and safe loading practices

- Excellent safety awareness

- Reliable and responsible work ethic

- Good communication skills
