Reasonable adjustments can be provided throughout the recruitment process.

All of our senior leaders are expected to:

- develop a clear vision for the future that links to ATO and government priorities
- be accountable and deliver outcomes that align with the long-term perspective
- find innovative and practical solutions, be open to ideas and engage with risk
- work collaboratively and influence across boundaries to achieve outcomes, progressing issues that cut across APS agencies, sectors and communities
- persuade others towards an outcome,

maintaining the confidence of government and stakeholders
- be self-aware and courageous, empowering individuals and teams to deliver their best
- build trust and confidence in the ATO and the tax and superannuation systems.

To be considered you must have:

- strong technical leadership in system performance methodologies, including the ability to oversee and assure complex estimation approaches, such as tax gap and compliance effectiveness measures
- advanced analytical and quantitative expertise, applying modelling, econometrics and statistical techniques to inform prioritisation and investment decisions
- demonstrated ability to assess the performance of the tax and super systems, translating insights into clear priorities and actions
- proven ability to lead and influence in a complex environment, driving alignment across business lines and delivering clear, authoritative advice through briefings, analytical papers and performance narratives
- a focus on governance and assurance, ensuring performance approaches are transparent, defensible and aligned with the PGPA Act and Commonwealth performance framework.
