Your Current Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a trade qualified Maintenance Painter to help deliver essential painting and surface restoration work across a large scale industrial site in Port Kembla. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high quality exterior maintenance painting, ensuring structures are well protected and finished to a high standard. This position offers an initial 6 month contract with a likelihood of ongoing work for the right candidate upon project completion.

Your Responsibilities

- Preparing surfaces thoroughly including washing, scraping, sanding, and patching prior to application

- Applying paint, varnishes, sealants, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment





- Performing routine maintenance painting on various structures, facilities, and surfaces

- Ensuring colour matching and quality finishes meet site specifications

- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area in accordance with site safety standards

- Transporting materials and tools safely around the site

About You

- Proven experience as a Painter, preferably within maintenance, commercial, or industrial settings

- Relevant trade qualifications in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent practical experience)

- Current White Card (General Construction Induction)

- Reliable transport and a valid driver's licence

- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a solid work ethic

- Ability to work safely both independently and as part of a team
