About the role

Engi Advisory is seeking a Civils Senior Project Engineer (SPE) to join a growing team.

This is a full-time position based in Merotherie, NSW.

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a crucial leadership role in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for managing project delivery, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards, and mentoring junior team members. This role is essential to the commitment to delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions and represents a key position within the Project Management division.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the planning, design and delivery of civil engineering projects from concept through to completion

- Manage project schedules, budgets and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

- Oversee site investigations, surveying and geotechnical assessments to inform project design and execution

- Prepare and review detailed project documentation, including specifications, drawings, technical reports and methodologies

- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and regulatory authorities to coordinate project activities and resolve issues

- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure work complies with design specifications and safety standards

- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development

- Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes

- Ensure all projects comply with relevant legislation, industry standards and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional qualification

- Minimum 8+ years' experience in civil engineering project management and delivery

- Proven experience managing complex infrastructure and civil engineering projects of significant scale and budget





- Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles, construction methodologies and industry best practices

- Demonstrated experience in site management, quality assurance and safety compliance

- Excellent leadership and mentoring capabilities, with the ability to motivate and develop team members

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to work effectively across diverse teams

- Proficiency with civil engineering software and project management tools

- Sound understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements in NSW civil engineering projects

- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
