Role Description This is a full time Marketing Specialist role based in Maadi, QLD with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a mix of on-site and work-from-home days. The Marketing Specialist will plan and execute marketing campaigns that raise brand awareness for 1MORETHING VENTURES and its portfolio companies across digital and offline channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing marketing content, managing social media and email campaigns, coordinating events or webinars, and supporting founder-facing initiatives with marketing materials and presentations. The role involves analyzing campaign performance, tracking key metrics,



and optimizing strategies based on data-driven insights. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with investment and operations teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective promotion of portfolio startups to partners, investors, and broader ecosystems.QualificationsStrong marketing fundamentals, including campaign planning, brand positioning, and audience segmentation.Experience with digital marketing channels such as social media, email, content marketing, and basic analytics tools.Ability to create clear, engaging marketing content for different formats (web, social, presentations, and print).Comfort working in startup or venture environments, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on inclusive, cross-cultural teamwork.Proficiency in using marketing and collaboration tools (e.g., CRM systems, social media platforms, design tools is a plus).Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Interest in the Middle East and Africa startup ecosystems; prior regional experience is an advantage.
