About the role

Jabez Roofing is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprenticeship – Cert III Roof Plumbing in Mundijong , WA. This is a full-time apprenticeship position that offers an excellent opportunity to learn a skilled trade whilst earning a wage. As a roof plumbing apprentice, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople, gaining practical hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of roof plumbing systems. This role is fundamental to our operations and will provide you with a solid foundation for a rewarding career in the plumbing and roofing industry.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting qualified roof plumbers with the installation and repair of guttering, downpipes, flashings and other roof plumbing components

- Learning and applying safe work practices and compliance with health and safety regulations on building sites

- Preparing and maintaining tools and equipment to professional standards

- Measuring, cutting and fitting roof plumbing materials accurately

- Assisting with the diagnosis and rectification of roof plumbing faults and leaks

- Attending formal training through a registered training provider as part of the Cert III qualification

- Developing problem-solving skills and learning to work efficiently under supervision

- Contributing to maintaining a clean and secure work environment on site

What we're looking for

- Year 10 or equivalent education minimum

- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in roof plumbing and the trades industry





- Strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality

- Ability to work safely and follow instructions from supervisors and qualified tradespeople

- Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights

- Basic mathematical and literacy skills

- Willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job

- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

- Valid driver's licence is desirable
