Leopard Controls is seeking experienced and motivated Mechanical Electricians to join our team for a long-term contract at HMAS Stirling, Garden Island.

This is an excellent opportunity for electricians looking for stable, ongoing work on a major Defence facility, working as part of an experienced team delivering Mechanical Electrical, HVAC controls and Building Management System (BMS) installations.

The Role

Working primarily at HMAS Stirling on Garden Island, you will be involved in the installation, upgrade, testing and commissioning of Mechanical Electrical and DDC control systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Mechanical Electrical installations

- New DDC control installations

- Installation and termination of control panels, field devices and associated equipment

- Testing and commissioning of electrical and control circuits





- Working from electrical schematics and control drawings

- Completing works in accordance with Defence site requirements and Leopard Controls quality and safety standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

- Current WA Electrical License – Essential

- Current Australian driver's license

- Current Construction White Card

- Ability to meet Defence site access and security requirements

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail

- Strong communication and relationship management skills

The following will be highly regarded:

- Mechanical Electrical / HVAC experience

- DDC Controls or BMS experience

- Experience working on Defence or other secure/critical infrastructure sites

- EWP licence

- Working at Heights
