The Chance

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver a part-time, school-based wellbeing and learning support program. The role will work collaboratively with school staff, students, and parents or guardians to provide evidence-based, neuro-affirming support that strengthens student outcomes, particularly in areas such as ADHD education, executive functioning, emotional regulation, time management, and relationship skills.

The Role

You will work three days per week providing:

Professional development sessions for school staff - provide evidence-based and neuro-affirming information about ADHD and practical classroom strategies to enhance student learning and wellbeing outcomes.

Student Group Programs - adapt session content to meet place-based needs in a developmental and age-appropriate format, support students to build executive functioning skills, provide take-home activities, and work alongside school staff members to embed program learnings.

Parent or guardian sessions - to support consistency for students between school and home, and provide parents and guardians with practical parenting strategies and evidence-based information to support student growth.





There are 2 contracts being offered - 3 days a week for Term 4 2026 and for the School year 2027.

About You

We are seeking a person with the right values and a genuine commitment to community-centred practice with:

- A Psychology degree and eligibility for AHPRA registration and to provide Medicare services
- Minimum five years' experience working with children with ADHD, including delivery of practical, evidence-based supports for students, families, and school staff.
- Current Working with Children Check
- Ability to travel to school and service sites across the metropolitan area and provide online sessions where required.
