About the role

Michael's Group is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Pharmacy Intern to join their growing team at one of three pharmacies within the Perth Metro area (Claremont, Wembley, and North Perth). You will train with experienced Preceptors and be exposed to many opportunities within Pharmacy, including full in-house Training Programs and External PD courses, Pharmaceutical Compounding, Webster Medication Packing, insight into Retail and Stock Control, and the Online Web Store (E-Commerce). All Michael's Chemist stores include private treatment rooms for vaccinations and clinical services, and you will work with a team of Allied Health Professionals including Physiotherapists and Podiatrists.

Key responsibilities

- Train in all aspects of the pharmacy business with onsite training and materials provided
- Participate in Pharmaceutical Compounding and Webster Medication Packing
- Gain insight into Retail and Stock Control operations
- Support clinical services including vaccinations in private treatment rooms
- Collaborate with Allied Health Professionals in-store
- Develop knowledge of the Online Web Store (E-Commerce)

About you





- On your way to becoming a registered AHPRA Pharmacist
- Proactive, self-motivated and organized
- Previous exposure to Pharmacy industry software and technology
- Previous experience in a customer service role is highly regarded
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Evidence of an open mindset towards working in a rapidly progressive environment
