BeHome is a long-stay, community-first accommodation brand in Surfers Paradise. We’re building a stronger pipeline of local employer and community partnerships so more internationals can find a safe, friendly “home base” while they work and live on the Gold Coast.

We’re hiring a Partnerships Database & Relationship Builder on a full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract (PAYG) to build and activate a high-quality partner network.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role combining relationship building, business outreach, research and database management.

You will identify local employers and community organisations that work with or employ internationals, connect with the right decision makers, introduce BeHome, arrange meetings and develop ongoing referral relationships.

You’ll also be responsible for keeping our partner database accurate, organised and up to date, with clear notes and follow-up actions for every contact.

What You’ll Do

• Build a database of local employers and community partners who hire or support internationals

• Research businesses across hospitality, cleaning, construction, labour hire, events, retail and other relevant industries

• Identify business owners, managers, recruiters and key decision makers

• Capture accurate phone, email and contact information

• Contact potential partners by phone, email, WhatsApp and face-to-face outreach

• Visit local businesses and confidently introduce BeHome

• Book and attend partner meetings

• Build and maintain positive relationships with local businesses and community organisations

• Provide partners with BeHome referral materials, QR codes and relevant information

• Follow up consistently with prospective partners

• Maintain accurate meeting notes, next steps and follow-up dates in the CRM

• Help turn prospective contacts into active referral partners

• Track weekly activity and outcomes, including new contacts, meetings and activated partners

What We’re Looking For

• A confident communicator who is comfortable approaching new people

• Comfortable walking into businesses and starting conversations

• Friendly, qualified and culturally aware

• Organised, reliable and consistent with follow-ups

• Comfortable making phone calls and arranging meetings

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Detail-oriented when maintaining contact records and databases

• Comfortable working towards clear targets and measurable outcomes

• Strong in spoken and written English

Experience

Experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:

• Sales

• Business development

• Recruitment

• Account management

• Hospitality

• Community outreach or engagement

• Customer service

Experience using a CRM or structured database is an advantage but not essential.

Existing familiarity with businesses around Surfers Paradise and the Gold Coast would be a strong advantage.

Location & Schedule

• Based in Surfers Paradise

• Full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract

• Combination of work from BeHome locations and local outreach

• Local outreach primarily between Southport and Burleigh Heads

• Some local travel will be required
