- EXPERIENCED MECHANICAL or DIESEL FITTER - PAGET WORKSHOP

REQUIRED FOR IMMEDIATE START

Central Qld Hydraulics is a well established business which Designs, Manufactures, conducts Services and Repairs on T Pumps, Motors, Hyd Cylinders in our Paget Workshop.

We also Install, Commission and maintain Hydraulic and Fluidpower Systems for Mine sites in the Bowen Basin.

THE POSITIONS -

We are seeking an Experienced Fitter for the following roles -

- Mechanical and/or diesel fitting in our workshop repairing Hydraulic Cylinders, Pumps, Motors, Valves etc. and servicing Trucks in our trucking division.

- The position would also include Welding Fabrication, Lathing, rebuilds and Manufacture of Hydraulic equipment.

- The successful applicant may also be required to occasionally work at Goonyella Riverside Mine assisting with Grease Lubrication, Servicing, Test & Tagging.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS –

- Qualified Trade Certificate in Fitting & Turning, Diesel or Mechanical.

- Have a sound understanding of Fluidpower principles & Lubrication Systems.

- Ability to Read & Interpret Hydraulic Circuit Drawings.





- Experience in the Overhaul, Testing, Diagnosis & Repair of Hydraulic Cylinders, Motors, Pumps and Valves.

- Experience with Servicing & Maintaining Trucks, Forklifts & EWP's.

- Excellent communication skills & Computer Competency.

- Standard 11 Certification, Coal Board Medical and BHP Inductions.

- Working at Heights, Confined Space Certificates.
