Part Time Motorcycle Salesperson

Role

Jet Moto Rockingham is growing and we are looking for a motivated and hands on Motorcycle Salesperson to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys motorcycles, likes dealing with customers and is comfortable doing a mix of sales, customer service and basic workshop duties.

This is not a sit behind a desk role. You will be helping customers, answering calls and emails, assembling motorcycles and supporting day to day store operations.

Our ideal days are Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Saturday finishing at 1:00pm), however the days and hours are negotiable for the right person. Flexibility is important for this role, as there may be times where you may need to assist with additional shifts or fill in when another team member is unavailable due to leave or sickness.

About Us

Jet Moto Rockingham sells and supports KOVE and Thumpstar motorcycles, with workshop, sales and parts operations. We deal with customers ranging from local riders through to Australia wide enquiries.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Motorcycle sales and assisting customers in store
- Answering incoming phone calls from customers Australia wide
- Responding to customer emails and enquiries
- Following up customer leads and product enquiries
- Managing and creating online listings through Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree
- Assisting with marketing and online customer engagement




- General store presentation and maintaining showroom appearance
- Assembling motorcycles (target approximately one bike per day)
- Basic warranty work and simple repairs
- Supporting workshop operations when required
- General stock handling and day to day store tasks

Requirements

- Current Motor Vehicle Salesperson Licence preferred, or willingness to obtain one
- Previous sales experience required
- Motorcycle industry experience highly regarded
- Good communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
- Basic mechanical ability and confidence using tools
- Ability to assemble motorcycles and carry out basic warranty repairs
- Experience using Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree preferred
- Computer skills including emails and general systems use
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Positive attitude and reliable work ethic
- Motorcycle licence or motorcycle experience highly regarded
- Ideally located between Rockingham and Bayswater for flexibility if support is required between locations

What We're Looking For

We want someone who can comfortably switch between helping a customer in the showroom, answering phone enquiries from around Australia, replying to emails, creating online listings and then heading into the workshop to assemble bikes or help with simple repairs.

Flexibility is important. The ability to help cover shifts when required is a big advantage, and there may occasionally be situations where assistance is needed at our Bayswater location.

Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
