We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and well‑presented individual to join our team as a Funeral Director’s Assistant. This position suits someone who is calm under pressure, comfortable working in a hands‑on environment, and able to support families during difficult moments.

You will work across the metropolitan area, with a strong focus on south‑of‑the‑river and central locations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with funerals in a respectful & professional manner

- Driving funeral vehicles, including hearses & limousines

- Supporting grieving families with sensitivity & care

- Handling deceased persons with dignity & respect

- Helping with additional tasks as required

This is a full‑time 38‑hour role worked between 7:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday, with overtime available & additional weekend or evening work as needed to support funeral services.

Requirements:





- Genuine commitment to exceptional service delivered with compassion & professionalism

- Ability to remain calm in emotionally challenging situations

- Robust organisational skills and attention to detail

- Reliable, flexible, & cooperative team player

- Discreet, with the ability to maintain confidentiality

- Physically fit - manual lifting is a daily requirement

- Clean and valid WA Drivers Licence (non - provisional)

- Full Australian Residency

- National Police Clearance (issued within the past 12 months)

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
