Embrace’s doors have been open for 15 wonderful years and are a locally owned and operated mobile exercise physiology business servicing Northern NSW/ Gold Coast.

The role

Part time 3 days per week with a clear pathway to 4-5 days full time (if desired). There is also the opportunity to work an additional day at our Gold Coast locations, bringing the role initially to 4 days per week.

We’re committed to supporting your growth and creating a role that can grow with you.

What your role will include

- Providing exercise physiology for older clients (including high falls risk), disability, CDM and return to work sectors.

- Deliver in gym/pool based exercise interventions and programs for clients with chronic health conditions and disabilities.

- Conduct assessments, management plans, reports, individual treatment programs and group sessions regarding chronic disease/injury management, falls prevention (including clients at high falls risk), NDIS,



work cover and other clientele within AEP scope of practice.

- Liaise with treatment providers/stake holders and increase awareness of EP in the community

Location:

Three days in the Northern Rivers NSW (Based in Ballina/Lismore with some travel to surrounding areas such as Byron Bay, Casino and Evans Head)

Optional: one day Gold Coast (mid to upper)

*with ability to increase hours in desired area.

What you will need:

- Accredited Exercise Physiologist and member of ESSA (or soon to be accredited)

- Hold professional indemnity insurance (upon accreditation)

- Driver’s license, own reliable car and laptop computer

We encourage new graduates to apply. This is an opportunity to secure your employment prior to finishing your degree. Role will commence once your accreditation is received. If you haven’t finished all your placement hours, there is an opportunity to complete them with us. Please note this on your application.
