- Fixed-term, full time role until January 2027

- Salary between $99,400-$108,100 (dependant on experience) + super

We have fixed term (parental leave cover) opportunity in the Organisational Development & Performance space.
The role is responsible for:
- Organisational and performance reporting including the Council Plan and other key Local Government reporting requirements.
- Leading the business and service planning initiatives, including coordinating the rollout of Council’s newly developed frameworks.
- Align annual Individual Performance Plans to the Department Service Plan and Department Workplan.
- Employee engagement survey design and facilitation, data interpretation and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support other key organisational initiatives such as the Workforce Plan.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Business/Organisational Development or related area OR demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic organisational plans, strategies, policies and performance reporting frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic planning and projects and implement across the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and implement solutions with attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to conduct influential, well-articulated oral and written communication, well developed interpersonal skills to be able to present to groups and facilitate engaging workshops.
- Proven track record engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders with different and sometimes competing needs and priorities, to set goals, optimise productivity, and achieve positive results.
- Highly developed communication, negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to effectively build robust, trusting relationships with senior decision makers and management internally and across all levels of Government.
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability and willingness to adapt within an environment of fluctuating workloads and changing priorities.
