We are a well-established and expanding turf farm and turf maintenance company dedicated to providing high-quality turf for residential, commercial, and sports turf applications. Our mission is to produce healthy, vibrant grass and provide exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a Turf Farm Hand / Truck Driver to join our energetic team and help maintain and manage our turf farm operations.

Further, we are also one of WA's largest turf maintenance contractors serving Dept. of Education, local governments and shires, private sports and private schools. As part of this service we are contracted to renovate sports fields year round requiring truck and tractor drivers.

Position Overview:
We have two positions available, 1) turf delivery driver/farm hand (manual HR license) and 2) truck driver on our renovations team carting sand with a truck and pig tipper ( Auto HR license as a minimum) As a truck driver, tractor driver on farm you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the farm. You will be responsible for helping manage the turf growing under direction of the farm manager, however 90% is delivering turf, harvesting, and back up delivery process, ensuring our farm produces top-quality turf. This role requires some problem-solving skills, a passion for horticulture/agriculture, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Renovations truck driver requires delivery of sand for top dressing of ovals mainly in the northern suburbs, assisting with tractor driving in modern case tractors when sand is not required (1 day per week usually on tractor)



and being a crucial part of our renovations team.

Key Responsibilities Farm:

- Operate farm machinery such as tractors, mowers, and harvesters for turf maintenance and harvesting

- Monitor and manage turf health, including irrigation, fertilization, and pest control

- Perform routine farm maintenance tasks such as equipment upkeep and field preparation

- Assist in the harvesting and loading of turf for despatch to customers

- Ensure that farm operations meet environmental sustainability and quality standards

- Maintain accurate records of fertilizer/chemical application, and equipment maintenance

- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize farm productivity

- Drive truck to pick up supplies and drop of turf to customers.

Key Responsibilities Renovations:

- Carry out pre starts on truck and other machinery

- attend quarry in Carramar for sand and ensure correct product

- Deliver turf into carparks or on edges of ovals without damaging turf or bitument

- Support renovations team with tractor operating or turf sweeping with Toro vacs towed behind ute

Qualifications Farm:

- Previous experience in farming, agriculture, or turf management preferred but not essential





- Some knowledge of turf grass or crop care, including irrigation, fertilization, and pest management

- Experience operating farm machinery and equipment

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments

- Attention to detail and commitment to quality

- Hold a current HR License

- Forklift experience

Qualifications Renovations:

- Hold current HR license as a minimum and able to tow trailer over 9 tonne as a minimum

- Experience reversing and tipping trailers able to jack knife trailer to tip truck without disconnection

- Ability to work as part of a team or individually

- perform daily preventative maintenance

- flexible on day to day activities

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift up to 20kg

- Ability to work as a team

- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
