The Bays Aged Care is proudly part of the Apollo Care Alliance, an innovative national organisation with a unique vision to support not-for-profit aged care communities located just over one hour drive from Melbourne city in the beautiful seaside town of Hastings. The Bays Aged Care is a 90-bed facility where we pride ourselves on creating a friendly, caring environment in which residents feel safe and supported. At the heart of our offering is a deep commitment to a resident-first approach.

We are seeking an experienced Night Duty Registered Nurse for a fixed-term, part-time opportunity covering maternity leave, working Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights (64 hours per fortnight).

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an in-charge role on night duty within aged care, with a solid commitment to delivering person-centred care and supporting our residents and team.

What you will do?

As a Registered Nurse You Will Be Responsible For

Holistic assessments in partnership with residents and their representativesDevelopment and evaluation of individualised resident care plansSupervise and support Personal Care WorkersClinical care including wound management,



palliative care and medication managementLiaison with medical and allied health care staffPositive resident experience through resident-centred approachYou must be dedicated to working within the applicable quality standards, including the Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards

Who are you and what will you bring?

Registration with the AHPRA as a registered nurse is essential Minimum 2 years experience in providing clinical care Strong verbal and written communication skillsHold NDIS Worker Checks (or willing to obtain)Be passionate about delivering a person-centred approach to care
