Lachlan Shire Council are looking to recruit a Customer Service Officer/Service NSW Officer for our Lake Cargelligo Office!

This permanent part-time position is based at our Lake Cargelligo Office, three (3) days a week and occasionally assists our Condobolin Office from time-to-time.

This role is responsible for providing a professional level of customer service at all times to Council's external & internal customers, this involves front line customer service, telephone duties, cashiering, Service NSW duties, library services and related tasks.

About You

To be successful you will need:

The ability to undertake Service NSW Training off site as required (at Council's expense)Working with Children CheckExperience in cash handling and balancingExcellent customer service skills and experienceThe ability to work well in a teamWell-developed written and oral communication skillsBasic Microsoft software skills and experienceCurrent Class 'C' Drivers LicenceJustice of the Peace (or have the ability to acquire within 6 months)

What We Offer

Salary and Conditions:

Salary range: $1,531.02 to $1,645.85 per fortnightStarting salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.45 hours per fortnight (Working Monday to Wednesday,



from 8.45am to 5pm inclusive with a 45 minute lunch break)Position classified at Grade 8 within Council's Salary Structure Employment conditions in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award
