Join Our Team as a Disability Support Worker!
We are seeking a passionate, reliable and experienced Disability Support Worker to provide high-quality support to NDIS participants in the Bannockburn / Inverleigh areas. This role would suit a confident support worker who has experience working with NDIS participants and is comfortable providing hands-on support to clients with complex care needs.
Availability
Thursday–Saturday between 8:00 AM–8:00 PM | Minimum 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities
Providing personal care, including toileting and showering assistanceSupporting clients with daily living activitiesCooking, meal preparation and household tasksCommunity access and social engagementManual handling and safe transfersMedication assistance, where appropriately trained and authorisedSupporting positive behaviour and implementing individual support strategiesPromoting independence, choice, dignity and wellbeing
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Disability Support WorkerCurrent Manual Handling training and practical experienceRelevant NDIS worker screening and other required checks, as applicable to the role.Right to work in Australia.A valid driver's licence, appropriate vehicle insurance and access to a reliable vehicle, where required for the role.
