They are seeking an experienced, reliable and safety-conscious Storeperson to support its warehouse and distribution operations. The successful applicant will be responsible for the accurate receipt, inspection, storage, stock control, picking, packing and dispatch of goods.

The position primarily involves warehouse and inventory-handling duties. Any local delivery driving will be occasional and incidental to the principal Storeperson role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Receive incoming goods and check them for damage, quality and discrepancies against invoices, purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Unload vehicles, open packages and place received goods in their designated warehouse or storage locations.
- Record stock receipts, quantities, storage locations and movements using the company’s inventory and warehouse systems.
- Label goods with relevant product, batch, expiry and storage-location information.
- Pick and check goods accurately against customer orders, picking dockets and dispatch documentation.

First Expire, First Out procedures when handling products with expiry dates.

- Pack, weigh, seal and label goods for storage or dispatch.
- Prepare and check invoices, consignment notes, picking dockets and other warehouse and dispatch documentation.




- Arrange goods according to the required loading and dispatch sequence.
- Load and unload trucks and other delivery vehicles safely.
- Verify carton numbers and quantities against invoices, consignment notes and dispatch records.
- Operate forklifts, electric and manual pallet jacks, trolleys and other approved materials-handling equipment.
- Use order-picking and lifting equipment to place and retrieve goods from warehouse storage areas.
- Conduct regular stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory checks.
- Identify and report damaged goods, stock discrepancies and inventory-control issues.
- Maintain accurate stock records and report stock levels to management.
- Maintain warehouse, cold-storage and dispatch areas in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
- Conduct routine pre-use safety checks of warehouse equipment and report faults to management.
- Occasionally undertake local delivery of goods where required.

Delivery driving is incidental to the principal Storeperson duties and does not form a substantial part of the position.

- Obtain appropriate signatures and proof of delivery documentation when assisting with local deliveries.
- Comply with workplace health and safety, manual-handling, food-safety and warehouse procedures.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, warehouse employees, suppliers, transport personnel and customers.
- Perform other reasonable warehouse duties incidental to the Storeperson position.

SELECTION CRITERIA 1. Warehouse experience Demonstrated experience receiving, handling, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods in a warehouse or distribution environment. 2. Stock control Ability to maintain accurate inventory records, conduct stocktakes and identify discrepancies between physical stock and warehouse records.

3. Receiving and dispatch Experience checking goods against invoices, purchase orders, picking dockets and consignment documentation. 4. Warehouse equipment Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, trolleys and other materials-handling equipment safely. 5.



Inventory systems Ability to use computers, scanners or warehouse systems to record stock locations, quantities and movements.

6. Accuracy and organisation Ability to pick, pack, label and dispatch orders accurately while meeting required schedules. 7. Communication and teamwork Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with warehouse employees, management, suppliers and transport personnel. 8. Safety Demonstrated understanding of warehouse safety, manual-handling procedures and safe equipment operation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- AQF Certificate II or Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations, Warehousing Operations or a related field, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- At least one year of relevant Storeperson or warehousing experience
- Practical experience receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods.
- Experience checking goods against invoices, picking lists and dispatch documentation.
- Experience maintaining stock records and assisting with stocktakes.
- Basic computer literacy and experience using inventory or warehouse systems.
- Current forklift licence, or capacity to obtain one where required.
- Current driver licence.
- Ability to safely undertake manual-handling duties.
- Ability to work full-time in Darwin, Northern Territory.
