This is your chance to be part of the Ascot Racing Carnival. From October to January each year, Ascot Racecourse comes alive with some of our biggest race day events, including Melbourne Cup, The Pinnacles and Perth Cup. PRS has also been providing premium security and event services for many regional race clubs and other events throughout WA since 2005.

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced casual Crowd Controllers, Supervisor and Roving Response Officers, for the 2026-27 Ascot Racing Carnival commencing 10 October 2026.

About the role

We are looking for team players who work well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.



You will have a passion for outstanding customer service and embody our core values of Integrity and Transparency, Leadership and Empowerment, Innovation and Excellence, Safety and Sustainability, and Engagement and Understanding.

Reporting to the Security Management team, you will be working with a professional group to provide an exceptional level of customer service to our race day patrons and clients.

- Maintaining and monitoring operations in relation to all Security and OSH
- Monitoring level of intoxication in accordance with OHS, policies, and procedures
- Gate entry, IDs & bag searches
- Responding to any incidents
- Strict compliance with the Security and Related Activities (Control) Act & regulations

To be successful in these roles you will have:

- Valid Western Australian Crowd Controller licence
- Valid Western Australian Security Officer licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- RSA certificate
- Relevant experience in reputable venues
- High standard of personal presentation
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to work on Saturday’s
